Christmas and 10 months!

It has been so fun this year having Hunter for the holidays!  Not that he is really to thrilled, but it just makes things more exciting.  As always it was busy, with many places to go, and many people to see.  For my dads side of the family this year we had an ugly Christmas sweater party, there were some doozies!  Hunter got a zoom and go race track, clothes, a high chair, and a John Deere Tractor!  He was of course more excited with the boxes and wrapping paper.  Jared got a GPS, and Hunter and I gave him a lever action 30/30 (I'm not sure how to write that).  As for me, my parents gave me a digital recipe book, and Jared built me this awesome craft storage and work center, it's AMAZING!!!
Hunter also turned 10 months!  He has gotten two more teeth, and grinds them constantly!  He seems to get his teeth in two at a time, as if one isn't painful enough.  He is doing good on solid foods, still gags a lot, he loves anything except green beans.

Hangin' out with Uncle Ben!

Oh no!  Hunter is way to intrigued already!

9 Months

I can't believe how time flies!  Hunter is getting so big.
Height: 28" (50%)
Weight: 19.45lbs (50%)
Hunter has two teeth, his first tooth poked through on November 1, and more trying to come in, he does pretty good with the pain.  Still a little behind on his motor skills but we are working on it.  He is such a good little guy and only gets angry if you don't feed him on time!  He loves to chew on his burp cloth, but other than that isn't too attached to anything.  He still loves his daddy, and also loves his uncle Chase.

It's Legal

It's offical we are now the legal parents of our little man!  We are so excited!!!  It was great to be able to go to court and have everything finalized.  It has been a long process and at times a little stressful, but it is all worth it.  We love Hunter so much and are so greatful to have him in our lives!
This is a picture of us with our amazing caseworker Diane, and Mitch who is also from LDSFS, we would never have been able to get through all of this without Diane's help!

Us with Judge DeRieda, he was awesome!

Boo

So for Halloween this year, Hunter dressed as a monkey.  I don't think he was really too thrilled about the whole thing.  But he was a trooper, and let us drag him around to all the grandparents trick or treating!  Such a cute little monkey.

8 months & Pumpkin Patch

So Hunter decided it was time for him to get even older!  I can't believe how big he is getting.  He is such a good little man.  I have been teaching him some sign language and he is already starting to understand it!  He knows the sign for milk (of course, he loves his bottle), no, and finished.  He tries really hard to talk, he definately has a lot to say!  Can't wait to get him all dressed up for Halloween!  He loves to blow raspberries, and has the cutest giggle ever!
We also went to the pumpkin patch with Jareds family, and carved pumpkins, it was a lot of fun!
I wish for once he would look at the camera!

7 Months

I can't believe our little man is seven months old already!  He is such a sweet boy and getting bigger everyday.  He is always so good.  It is so fun to watch him explore and learn new things.  He has the cutest giggle in the world,  dad is the one that can get him to giggle the most.  One funny thing right now is that it scares Hunter to death when Jared sneezes!  He cries every time, if anyone else sneezes it doesn't even phase him!  It makes Jared feel bad every time.

Hunter turned 6 months on August 23.  He had his check-up the other day and is doing great!

Much Needed Vacation!

So over Labor Day weekend Jared, Hunter and I went to St. George with Jareds brother and his family.  the first night we camped in Cedar City, and Hunter loved it.  Then we went on to St. George to do some more rockcrawling and just relax.  It was a little on the warm side but so nice to just get away!
Dad getting Hunter all buckled in to go on his first trail.

As you can see he definately wasn't going to fall out!

Didn't much care for the water here!

So stinkin' cute!  At least we think so.

Good Friends, Good Fun

So some of our friends have decided to abandon us and move to Kentucky :(  So we had a little get together with almost all of our friends to say goodbye.

Everyone was so excited to see Grandma Barbara!
Some of the kids trying to fee the dog.

If you can't tell the adults are a little out numbered!

Fireworks

We went to the fireworks at Weber State with a bunch of friends.  We had so much fun.  Hunter was a little too tired and didn't stay awake long enough to see the fireworks.  But had no problem sleeping right throuhg them.

Jared and Miss Brinley.

Hunter just hanging out having fun!

MRI

So on July 7 Hunter had to go in for an MRI.  His head, if you haven't noticed is a little on the large side.  I didn't get many pictures, because he wasn't a very happy camper when he woke up.  He cried for about 2 1/2 hrs, then finally they gave him a little dose of caffine, his eyes popped open and he was a lot happier.  Now why couldn't they have just done this earlier.  As for the results of the MRI they turned out fairly normal.  He will be a little behind developmentally for awhile but it should resolve itself by the time he is 2.

So my cousin took some pictures of Hunter.  She did an awsome job, unfortunately Hunter wasn't too thrilled but she still got some good ones!

2 months

So I am a little behind but Hunter had his 2 month check a couple weeks ago.  He was a trooper, he did get a fever and the only one that seemed to be able to soothe him was Jared, it was so cute!
Weight: 12lbs 7oz (50%)
Height: 23" (50%)
Head: 90%

Here are some other pics of him.  Just some random stuff.

Merry Chirstmas and Happy New Year!

I know I am a little late with the holiday wishes, but it is amazing how busy you can get this time of year. Hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas, Jared and I had a nice Christmas, a little stressful and emotional but nice. Jared gave me the food processor that I have been asking for, and it is amazing. Then Jared got a book, movie, and money to spend at the hobby shop, we also were given a lot of gift cards that I am sure we can put to good use. We then decided that we both deserved a break from the world so we went to St. George with Lance, Jenny, and the kids. It was great weather and we had fun celebrating New Years down there. It was definately what we both needed. Hope everyone else had a great holiday!!!
