Look Who's 1!

I can't believe our little man is a year old now, it's crazy! He is getting so big! Earlier this month he had an appointment with a neurologist because of his developmental delays.  She ordered another MRI, and an appointment with an eye doctor for his lazy eye, and physical therapy.  Hopefully this will find some anwsers to why Hunter is a little behind.  As for his growth he is doing just fine.
Height:
Weight: 22lbs
We have changed him to a forward facing carseat, and he loves it!  He just stares at everything.  He has eight teeth now, he is now on regular milk, and is off his bottle.  He did so good when we started to take away his bottle, and only fussed about it one night.  He is such a trooper.
Hunter had a good birthday, although he was not to thrilled about it.  He wouldn't really eat his cake, and had a melt down, so he went to bed and everone else hung out.  He got a tool bench, wagon, clothes, and a dinosaur flashlight. Now prepare for picture overload!
Look whos 1!

Helping with the laundry

Of course the cake had to have trucks on it!

Hunter with some of his presents, the balloons were his favorite part!

Not to thrilled:(

First real taste of sugar, he didn't know what to think.

All dressed up in his new church outfit grandma Rees bought him.

Ring in the new!

Happy New Year!  We had a great New Years Eve at our house with all our friends, it was a lot of fun!  Then on New Years Day, Hunter decided it was finally time to start sitting up on his own! Hooray!  He is getting more teeth (now has almost 8),  he grinds his teeth so bad that he has chipped his tooth.  I don't know what is worse him grinding his teeth to deal with the pain, or crying.  Here are a few pictures from January.
Looking a little concerned

Jared and his brother brought this home from California!

Hunter loves hangers, but he is sort of stuck!

Getting ready to go outside and play with dad.

Christmas and 10 months!

It has been so fun this year having Hunter for the holidays!  Not that he is really to thrilled, but it just makes things more exciting.  As always it was busy, with many places to go, and many people to see.  For my dads side of the family this year we had an ugly Christmas sweater party, there were some doozies!  Hunter got a zoom and go race track, clothes, a high chair, and a John Deere Tractor!  He was of course more excited with the boxes and wrapping paper.  Jared got a GPS, and Hunter and I gave him a lever action 30/30 (I'm not sure how to write that).  As for me, my parents gave me a digital recipe book, and Jared built me this awesome craft storage and work center, it's AMAZING!!!
Hunter also turned 10 months!  He has gotten two more teeth, and grinds them constantly!  He seems to get his teeth in two at a time, as if one isn't painful enough.  He is doing good on solid foods, still gags a lot, he loves anything except green beans.

Hangin' out with Uncle Ben!

Oh no!  Hunter is way to intrigued already!

9 Months

I can't believe how time flies!  Hunter is getting so big.
Height: 28" (50%)
Weight: 19.45lbs (50%)
Hunter has two teeth, his first tooth poked through on November 1, and more trying to come in, he does pretty good with the pain.  Still a little behind on his motor skills but we are working on it.  He is such a good little guy and only gets angry if you don't feed him on time!  He loves to chew on his burp cloth, but other than that isn't too attached to anything.  He still loves his daddy, and also loves his uncle Chase.

It's Legal

It's offical we are now the legal parents of our little man!  We are so excited!!!  It was great to be able to go to court and have everything finalized.  It has been a long process and at times a little stressful, but it is all worth it.  We love Hunter so much and are so greatful to have him in our lives!
This is a picture of us with our amazing caseworker Diane, and Mitch who is also from LDSFS, we would never have been able to get through all of this without Diane's help!

Us with Judge DeRieda, he was awesome!

Boo

So for Halloween this year, Hunter dressed as a monkey.  I don't think he was really too thrilled about the whole thing.  But he was a trooper, and let us drag him around to all the grandparents trick or treating!  Such a cute little monkey.

8 months & Pumpkin Patch

So Hunter decided it was time for him to get even older!  I can't believe how big he is getting.  He is such a good little man.  I have been teaching him some sign language and he is already starting to understand it!  He knows the sign for milk (of course, he loves his bottle), no, and finished.  He tries really hard to talk, he definately has a lot to say!  Can't wait to get him all dressed up for Halloween!  He loves to blow raspberries, and has the cutest giggle ever!
We also went to the pumpkin patch with Jareds family, and carved pumpkins, it was a lot of fun!
I wish for once he would look at the camera!
